Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SaaSScout ("the Service"), operated at saasscout.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SaaSScout is an AI-powered platform that analyzes publicly available conversations from sources such as Reddit, Hacker News, and GitHub to identify SaaS market opportunities. The Service includes:

  • Niche analysis and opportunity scoring.
  • Competitor intelligence dashboards.
  • Real-time monitoring of market trends.
  • API access for programmatic use.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide a valid email address and accurate information to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys.
  • You must not share API keys or allow unauthorized access to your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Plans & Pricing

4.1 Free Plan

The Free plan provides limited access to the Service (1 full analysis). The Free plan may be modified or discontinued at any time.

4.2 Lifetime Access

The Lifetime Access plan is a one-time payment of $300 USD. It provides unlimited access to all current features and reasonable future updates. "Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the product (i.e., as long as SaaSScout operates), not the lifetime of the purchaser.

4.3 Limited Availability

Lifetime Access is limited to 100 spots. Once all spots are sold, we may offer alternative pricing models.

5. Payments & Refunds

  • All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles all billing, taxes, and PCI-DSS compliance.
  • Prices are in USD. Applicable taxes (VAT, sales tax) are calculated and collected by Lemon Squeezy based on your location.
  • All sales are final. Due to the digital nature of the Service and immediate access upon purchase, we do not offer refunds. Please take advantage of the free tier to evaluate the platform before purchasing.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.
  • Abuse API rate limits or attempt to circumvent usage restrictions.
  • Scrape, crawl, or spider the Service (use the API instead).
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute data obtained from the Service without prior written consent.
  • Use automated systems to overwhelm the Service (DDoS, brute force, etc.).

7. Intellectual Property

  • The Service, including its code, design, logos, and content, is owned by SaaSScout and protected by copyright and trademark laws.
  • Data you input or generate using the Service remains yours. We claim no ownership over your analysis results.
  • You grant us a limited license to use your data solely to provide and improve the Service.

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described therein.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that market opportunities identified by the Service will be profitable.

SaaSScout is a research and analysis tool. Any business decisions you make based on the Service are your sole responsibility.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SaaSScout SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

  • You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@saasscout.io.
  • We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which SaaSScout operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
